Overview
Yeongcheon sits along the Gyeongbu Expressway midway between Seoul and Busan, making it a convenient stopover for road trippers. The city is historically significant as the birthplace of Goryeo scholar Choe Mu-seon and the loyalist Jeong Mong-ju, whose poetry is still recited today.
