We’re building an offline atlas, trip planner and private journal for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The web atlas is here to read now. The app is still in development.
Where the guide text comes from
Guide text is adapted from Wikivoyage contributors and shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. We select, shorten and reorganize that material into field guides and practical notes. Those adaptations remain available under the same licence.
Wikivoyage’s copyleft policy explains attribution and reuse. Check changing details such as entry rules, services, safety conditions, opening hours and prices with current local sources.
What the prices mean.
Daily budgets are shoestring estimates in US dollars, not live quotes. Bed and beer prices appear only when the underlying records are sufficiently reliable. Missing or implausible estimates are left out. Your own costs will depend on the season and how you travel.
Every photograph has a source.
Plates use photographs with a recorded reusable licence and creator credit. Images without verified permission are left out. Cropping and pixel treatment do not change the original rights. The credits list the photographs and their licences.
