Paracas is a small beach resort town on Peru's Southern Coast, also known as 'El Chaco'. While the local beach is modest, it serves as the gateway to the stunning Paracas National Reserve with miles of sandy shores, dramatic desert landscapes, and the famous Ballestas Islands.

Transport
Buses from Cruz del Sur and Oltursa connect Paracas to Lima and Arequipa. Peru Hop offers daily service from Lima with free pickups.
