Why go?

Ansan is a planned city from the 1970s and an important industrial center. It stands out for its ethnic composition – it has some of the largest and most vibrant Russian- and Chinese-speakers' communities in South Korea, with a number of ethnic restaurants and shops around Ansan subway station and ERICA campus. The city is well integrated with Seoul's transport system and offers a multicultural experience unlike other Korean suburbs.
