Overview
Los Arrayanes National Park protects one of the world's most unusual forests: thousands of Arrayanes trees (Luma apiculata), a rare flowering Myrtle species with cinnamon-colored bark that can live up to 650 years. Set on a peninsula of Lake Nahuel Huapi against a backdrop of towering Andean peaks, the park offers pristine hiking trails and mountain biking routes through Patagonia's Andean highlands.
