Overview
Jebudo is a small island off the west coast of South Korea, southwest of Seoul, renowned for its beach and summer vacation appeal. The island is famous for the "Miracle of Moses" — twice daily, the tide recedes and reveals a road across the sea, allowing visitors to walk across the mud flats.

Before you go
Money
Local currency is South Korean Won (KRW). Most pensions and restaurants accept cards, but cash is useful at fish markets and roadside vendors.
Safety
The tidal road (BadatGil) is only accessible when the tide is out — check the tide calendar before planning to walk the sea floor. Mud flat activities require caution on slippery terrain.
Transport
No direct subway to Jebudo — combine Seoul Metro Line 1 to Geumjeong or Suwon stations, then buses (Bus 330 or 1004) to the island entrance. Driving is the easiest way to get around once on the island.
Weather
Peak season is summer (June-August) when Jebudo Beach is most active. Winter sees reduced services, including closure of Jebu Farm. Check tide schedules for the "Miracle of Moses" road exposure.
