Overview
Higashikagawa (東かがわ) is the easternmost city in Kagawa prefecture, historically famous for glove manufacturing dating back 130 years. The city preserves a historic district in Hiketa with traditional buildings, including Kamebishiya with its striking vermillion walls, and offers hands-on experiences making wasanbon sugar, traditional sweets, and decorating gloves.
