Overview
Yuzawa is Japan's most convenient ski resort destination, accessible directly by bullet train from Tokyo in just 70 minutes. The town combines world-class skiing across ten resorts with traditional Japanese hot springs (onsen), all immortalized in Yasunari Kawabata's Nobel Prize-winning novel Snow Country (Yukiguni).
