Overview

Yangmingshan is Taipei's closest highland escape: volcanic fumaroles at Xiaoyoukeng, free public hot springs at Lengshuikeng, and spring azalea displays at Yangming Park. The park's tallest peak, Mount Qixing (Seven Star Mountain), reaches 1,120 m and is the highest point in Taipei City.
