Health
Extreme altitude (up to 5,035 m) requires acclimatization. Altitude sickness is a risk; descend if symptoms develop.
Packing
Bring layers, sunblock, hat, water, and sturdy hiking boots. Weather changes rapidly at high altitude.
Transport
Taxis from central Cochabamba to the park cost approximately Bs. 35 and take about 10 minutes.
