Language
Japanese is the primary language. Limited English outside major hotels. Korean signage exists due to Korean tourist traffic.
Money
Credit cards are not widely accepted on Tsushima, especially in small restaurants and rural shops. Carry sufficient Japanese Yen (cash) for most purchases.
Safety
Tsushima is a quiet rural island with low crime. Standard urban precautions suffice.
Transport
Tsushima Yamaneko Airport has daily ANA flights from Fukuoka (¥14,000 one-way) and Nagasaki. Ferries connect to Busan, South Korea.
