Surfing at Amor beach, dolphin watching at Baía dos Golfinhos, buggy rides, rappelling, and mangrove tours in Lagoa dos Guaraíras are the main activities.
Connectivity
Mobile coverage is good in Pipa and Tibau do Sul, weaker in Sibaúma. WiFi available at most accommodations and some restaurants. Local SIM cards available from Brazilian carriers.
Money
Brazilian Real (R$) is the currency. ATMs available in Pipa village. Credit cards accepted at most restaurants and hotels but carry cash for beach vendors and small establishments.
Transport
Expresso Oceano buses connect Tibau do Sul, Pipa, and Sibaúma for R$ 1 between villages. Walking between villages is possible but 7 km each way. Car rental and buggy are popular for exploring.
Weather
Tropical climate year-round. Best for beach activities December-March. June-August brings wind ideal for kitesurfing. New Year Eve draws massive crowds to Pipa.
