Overview
Tepelenë is a small town in southeastern Albania that serves as a gateway to the Kurvelesh region. The town is historically significant as the birthplace of Ali Pashë Tepelena, a powerful Ottoman-era ruler who controlled much of western Greece and southern Albania.
