Overview
Ráckeve is a small town on the southern end of Csepel Island, about 40 km south of Budapest, offering a tranquil Danube-side escape with significant historical character. The town is notable for its Serbian Orthodox heritage, featuring the only standing Gothic Serbian Orthodox church in Hungary and Central Europe, dating to 1487.
