Overview
Puerto Malabrigo (also called Puerto Chicama) is a small surf town on Peru's northern coast, 20 km northwest of Paiján and 50 km north of Trujillo. It draws surfers from around the world for one reason: the legendary point break at Chicama produces the longest left-hand wave on the planet, sometimes stretching over 2 km.
