Overview
Old Oyo National Park is Nigeria's only national park combining archaeological, cultural, and natural attractions. Spanning 2,512 km² (970 sq mi) across Oyo and parts of Kwara State, it preserves the ruins of Oyo-Ile—the political capital of the Oyo Empire from the 16th-18th centuries.
