Overview

Naypyidaw offers a genuinely unique travel experience as one of the world's few planned capital cities, built by Myanmar's military government in the early 2000s. The city stands out for its extraordinary infrastructure: eight-lane boulevards, Parisian-sized roundabouts, and the remarkable absence of traffic jams that plague other Asian capitals.
