Overview
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park protects Uganda's portion of the Virunga Mountains, a chain of dramatic volcanoes shared with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Despite being Uganda's smallest national park, it is one of its most scenic, combining bamboo forests, misty montane slopes, and rugged volcanic peaks.
