Overview
Lago Puelo is a small lakeside town in Argentine Patagonia, best known as a gateway to Lago Puelo National Park and the Greater Patagonia Trail. It offers a quieter, less crowded alternative to busier Patagonian hubs, with direct lake views, forest walks, and access to a 97 km trail heading south to Lago Cholila.

Buses run between Lago Puelo and El Bolsón every 1-2 hours. Long-distance buses connect to Bariloche and Esquel. No train service.
