Overview
Jastarnia is a compact sea resort village in the middle of the Hel peninsula, one of the most popular on the Polish Baltic coast. It offers a broad beach with white sandy dunes northeast of the center, a working fishing harbour at the south beach, and a lively bar and cafe scene along Ulica Sychty.

The broad white sand beach northeast of the center is the main draw. Pine forest backs the dunes immediately behind the beach.
Culture
Fishing heritage is visible in the old fishing houses around the neo-Baroque church and the harbour. The unusual altar shaped like a fishing boat reflects local maritime culture.
Transport
Jastarnia is walkable and bike-friendly. The Hel Peninsula orientation is simple, minimizing getting lost risk.
