Overview

Isla Aguada is a tiny fishing village turned Pueblo Magico with just 5,000 residents, offering miles of uncrowded beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and access to Laguna Terminos, one of Mexico's most important coastal wetlands. The main draw is spotting wild bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat, plus the charm of a genuinely off-the-beaten-path Mexican coastal town without the tourist crowds of more famous destinations.
