Overview
Higashihiroshima is famous for its sake breweries concentrated in Saijo district, one of Japan's celebrated sake-producing towns. The draw is Sakagura-dori (西条酒蔵通り), a street lined with seven closely-spaced breweries offering tastings that are rarely found outside their premises.
