Overview
Hel is a compact Baltic seaside town at the tip of a 34 km peninsula, equidistant between Gdańsk and Władysławowo. The town combines fishing heritage with WWII history — a one-month defense against German invaders in 1939 is commemorated in museums and preserved bunkers.
