Overview

Gramado is accessed via Porto Alegre (2 hours east). Most arrive by car or bus. Main tourist area along Av. Borges de Medeiros is walkable. Taxis and rideshares available.

Mountainous temperate climate at 850m altitude. Winters reach 7.5-17°C with frost and occasional snow; summers are mild at 13-25°C but can exceed 32°C. Rainfall is uniform year-round (1,996mm annually). Pack layers and an umbrella.
