Gapyeong is a small town of 20,000 people in Gyeonggi-do province, South Korea, famous for pine nuts (잣) and Nami Island (남이섬). The area is very mountainous, making it ideal for hiking and mountain biking.

The Jarasum International Jazz Festival takes place early to mid-October with 3-day passes available for ₩10,000.

Transport
Gapyeong train station is a short walk or ₩3,000 taxi ride from the town center. Exit 1 is the only exit.
Weather
Winter visits to Eobi Valley are popular January-February when the frozen waterfall creates spectacular scenery.
