Overview

Chau Doc sits at the edge of Vietnam's Mekong Delta where the Cambodian border draws travelers who linger for the atmosphere rather than sights alone. The town fuses Cham, Khmer, and Vietnamese cultures into a place where temple visits blend into riverside strolls and night markets sell grilled river fish alongside incense and electronics.
