Overview
Cañón del Sumidero is one of the most dramatic natural landscapes in Mexico, with sheer cliff walls rising up to 1 km above the Grijalva River. The two-hour boat tour through the canyon gives you the best perspective on the scale of the cliffs, and guides often point out American crocodiles and spider monkeys.
