Overview
Zamość is a UNESCO World Heritage site inscribed in 1992 for its Renaissance architecture. Founded in 1580 by Jan Zamoyski and designed by Italian architect Bernardo Morando, the town was intended as an international hub embracing Italian Renaissance values.
