Overview
Yulong Naxi Autonomous County sits at the intersection of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet, offering a slower alternative to Lijiang Ancient Town with the same Naxi culture and easier access to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The county is the birthplace of Dongba culture—its ancient texts are UNESCO Memory of the World—and the Baisha Murals, Baoshan Stone City, and Ancient Tea Horse Road are all national heritage sites.
