Overview
Yalıkavak is a modern resort on Turkey's Bodrum peninsula, built up from quiet fishing and sponge-diving villages in the 1980s. The area now includes the neighboring villages of Gündoğan and Göltürkbükü, forming a sprawling resort complex.

Local buses (dolmuşes) connect Yalıkavak with Bodrum and neighboring villages. Bus 2-6 runs every 30 minutes to Yalıkavak from Bodrum's Yeni Otogar.
