Overview
Xcalak is a small, sleepy fishing village at the southernmost point of Quintana Roo state in Mexico, near the Belize border. Unlike the busier resort areas further north, Xcalak offers uncrowded beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and access to the Great Mesoamerican Reef—the second largest barrier reef in the world.
