Overview
Vama Veche is a small fishing village turned bohemian beach destination on Romania's Black Sea coast, right at the border with Bulgaria. Unlike package-tour resorts, it has retained a grungy, alternative atmosphere with camping on the beach, 24/7 beach bars, and rock festivals drawing thousands of young Romanians and backpackers each summer.
