Urayasu exists primarily as the home of Tokyo Disney Resort, drawing millions of visitors annually to its two theme parks. The city itself offers little beyond the resort complex, though its proximity to Tokyo makes it an easy day trip.

Japan is largely cash-dependent outside major cities, but Urayasu's resort area accepts cards widely at hotels and larger establishments.
Transport
JR Keiyo Line from Tokyo Station takes about 15 minutes to Maihama Station, the Disney Resort gateway. Musashino Line also serves the area.
