Overview
Ubajara National Park (Parque Nacional de Ubajara) is the smallest national park in Brazil, yet it delivers an outsized natural experience. The park covers 6,200 hectares and is bordered by other protected natural areas in the state of Ceará in northeastern Brazil.

Accommodation
Stay in Ubajara town for proximity to the park. No accommodation exists inside the park itself.
Activities
Hiking requires park guides; departures at 8, 9, and 10am for the Ubajara Araticum trail. Cable cars provide easier access to escarpment views.
Transport
Fly into Fortaleza (FOR) then drive or bus approximately 7 hours to São Benedito, the closest town with regular bus service. Ubajara town is 20 km from São Benedito.
Weather
Year-round warmth between 19-28°C with no major storms. The park is not in hurricane zones, making any season viable.
