Overview
Tolmin is the largest town and administrative centre of the Soča Valley, offering a rare confluence of two Alpine rivers, one of Slovenia's deepest gorges at 60m under Devil's Bridge, and easy access to Triglav National Park. The town combines outdoor adventure with WWI history, including Javorca memorial church—a protected European Cultural Heritage site since 2006.
