Temoaya offers a rare window into the living traditions of the Otomi (Hñähñú) people, who consider this municipality their ancestral homeland. The centerpiece is the monumental Otomi Ceremonial Center, a 20th-century architectural achievement that channels the grandeur of pre-Hispanic design.
