Overview
Te Kuiti is a tiny Waikato town of around 4,000 people that bills itself as the Sheep Shearing Capital of the World. Its main claim to fame is the annual Great New Zealand Muster and Running of the Sheep held every April, when sheep from surrounding farms are herded through the main street.
