Overview
Tamchy is a small city on the southern shore of Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan's largest lake. It offers a quieter, more relaxed alternative to the busier northern resorts, with a long sandy beach, mountain hiking opportunities to the north, and access to local CBT (Community Based Tourism) initiatives.
