Mobile coverage is provided by Polish carriers (Plus, Orange, T-Mobile, Play) with 4G available in town. Free WiFi is found at cafes and some public areas.
Money
Poland uses the Polish złoty (PLN). ATMs are available in town. Credit cards are accepted at most hotels and restaurants but carry cash for smaller establishments and beach bars.
Safety
Be aware when walking west on the beach that you may cross into Germany near Heringsdorf. The German climate fee is strictly enforced and hotels on the Polish side do not cover it.
Transport
The International Ferry Terminal connects Świnoujście to Scandinavia. The train station offers PKP Intercity connections to Warsaw, Kraków, and Gdańsk. Local buses and taxis serve the town.
Weather
Summer (June-August) is warmest with 20-25°C temperatures ideal for beach activities. Shoulder seasons offer milder weather with fewer crowds.
