Overview
South Penghu Marine National Park is Taiwan's only marine national park in the Penghu archipelago, offering pristine volcanic islands with striking basalt formations, clear waters for snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding, and WWII-era Japanese military installations. The four main islands—Dongjiyu, Xijiyu, Dongyupingyu, and Xiyupingyu—are largely undeveloped, providing an authentic remote island experience far from Taiwan's urban centers.
