Overview
Sigatoka is the western gateway to Fiji's Coral Coast, a scenic stretch of resorts and beaches running southeast toward Suva. The town sits at the mouth of the Sigatoka River where the valley opens into fertile farmland earning it the nickname 'Salad Bowl of Fiji.' Unlike the busier Pacific Harbour area to the east, Sigatoka offers a more relaxed base for accessing sand dunes, waterfalls, hill forts, and river adventures while still being within day-trip range of major attractions.
