Overview
Shirahama is a nostalgic beach resort town on Wakayama's western coast, famous for its distinctive white sand beach and hot springs. The 1960s-80s hotel strip along the beachfront evokes a retro Japanese seaside atmosphere, unlike modern resort destinations.
