Overview
Shebenik-Jabllanice National Park is named after two mountains within its boundaries: Shebenik and Jabllanice. Established in 2008, it is one of Albania's newest national parks and remains underdeveloped, offering a raw and uncrowded wilderness experience.

Money
Currency is Albanian Lek (ALL). Cash is essential in villages around the park as card facilities are unlikely.
Packing
Bring layers for changing elevations and weather. Snow can persist at higher elevations until May.
Safety
Wildlife including bears, wolves, and lynx inhabit the park. Make noise on trails and maintain distance from animals.
Transport
The park has limited public transport access. Most visitors arrive by private vehicle; roads are often dirt and some require 4WD.
