Overview
San Pedro de las Colonias is a small city of about 45,000 residents in southwestern Coahuila, northern Mexico. The town proudly calls itself the cradle of the Mexican Revolution because it was the birthplace and home of Francisco Ignacio Madero, the key instigator of the Revolution and Mexico's first president after the overthrow of Porfirio Diaz's dictatorship.
