Overview

Torreón is the largest metropolitan area in Coahuila and a major industrial center for textiles, clothing, and metals processing in Mexico. Known as "La Perla de la Laguna" (Pearl of La Laguna), the city offers art deco baseball stadiums, modern Liga MX football matches, and the iconic "El Cristo de las Noas" statue overlooking the city from a hilltop.
