Riscos de Momostenango National Park protects unusual natural rock formations called hoodoos, carved by wind and rain erosion over millennia. The formations look like church spires or towers reaching up from the ground.

Transport
Momostenango is accessible via the Pan-American Highway (CA-1) from Quetzaltenango, 40 km northeast. About 5 hours from Guatemala City by car.
