Overview
Pribaikalsky National Park protects one of Russia's most dramatic landscapes where the ancient Siberian taiga meets the world's deepest and oldest freshwater lake. The park encompasses Olkhon Island—the world's third largest lake island—plus thousands of hectares of coastal cliffs, pine forest, and wetland crucial for migratory birds.
