Booking
Tree-top houses must be booked far in advance via the official website. Only overnight guests with advance booking may use private vehicles inside the reserve.
Connectivity
BSNL is the only working mobile network. No other providers or datacards function here. Inform contacts of limited communication before visiting.
Money
Carry sufficient cash from Pollachi; there are no ATMs inside the reserve. Entry fees are ₹50-170 depending on vehicle type, safari costs ₹150 per person.
Packing
Binoculars, rain jacket, hiking shoes, and light-colored earth-toned clothing are essential. Umbrella and rain pants recommended during monsoon season.
Safety
Stay alert for wildlife, especially lone elephants. All activities must end by 6PM. Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited. Carry rain gear and wear earth-toned clothing.
Transport
Pollachi is the gateway town, 44 km from the reserve. All approaches require travel through Pollachi and Topslip. Park safaris are the only transport option for day visitors.
