Overview
Paracambi is a small municipality on Rio's northwestern outskirts, about 70 km from the city center. It attracts visitors for its historic 1861 railway station, hiking trails through Serra das Araras mountain range, and the preserved building of the former Brasil Industrial Textile Company—one of Brazil's most important 19th-century factories.
