Overview
Ordu is a relaxed Black Sea port city known for producing about a quarter of the world's hazelnuts. The old town cascades down a hillside from a Greek Orthodox church to the sea, with traditional houses, some extremely elaborate.

Ordu sits on coastal highway D010, 150 km east of Samsun and 180 km west of Trabzon. Dolmuşes and taxis provide local transport.
